Abstract

ABSTRAK Perusahaan didirikan dengan tujuan meningkatkan nilai perusahaan sehingga dapat memberikan kemakmuran bagi pemilik atau para pemegang saham. Salah satu upaya mencapai tujuannya, perusahaan selalu berusaha memaksimalkan labanya. Banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi t ingkat profitabilitas suatu perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh dari variabel modal kerja dan aktiva tetap terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan manufaktur di sektor industri barang konsumsi di Indonesia. Sampel penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2010 - 2013. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 30 perusahaan yang memenuhi syarat sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda dan statistik inferensial Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel modal kerja berpengaruh positif tidak signitifikan terhadap profitabilitas dan aktiva tetap berpengaruh positif signitifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Sehingga modal kerja tidak dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat profitabilitas perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang konsumsi dan aktiva tetap memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap tingkat profitabilitas perusahaan manufa ktur sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2010 - 2013. Kata Kunci: profitabilitas, modal kerja, aktiva tetap . ABSTRACT The company was founded with the goal of increasing the value of the company so as to provide prosperity for owners or shareholders.One of the efforts to achieve its goals, the company is always trying to maximize profits.Many factors can affect the profitability of a company.This study aimed to analyze the influence existence of working capital and fixed assets variables on the profitability of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector in Indonesia. The samples were manufacturing consumer goods ind ustry sectors listed on the Stock Exchange 2010 - 2013.Samples were taken by using purposive sampling method to obtain the 30 companies that qualify as a sample.This study used multiple linear regression analysis and inferential statistics The results of thi s study indicated that the variable working capital hadpositive effect on profitability but not significant, fixed assets had significantpositive effect on profitability.So that working capital cannot be used to measure the level of profitability of the ma nufacturing enterprise and the consumer goods industry sector fixed assets had considerable influence on the level of profitability of companies manufacturing consumer goods industry sectors listed on the Stock Exchange 2010 - 2013.
