Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV di SD Negeri 3 Metro Pusat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen jenis Quasi Eksperimental (eksperimen semu) dengan jenis Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi sampel yang digunakan yaitu berjumlah 21 peserta didik kelas IV A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 15 peserta didik kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling atau teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu..
