Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini berawal dari hasil analisis kebutuhan pada pembelajaran peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk e-modul tematik berbasis discovery learning yang layak dan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Developments (R&D), Pengembangan dilakukan mengacu pada teori Borg & Gall. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yang diambil pada dua sekolah yang berbeda dengan jumlah responden yaitu 50 peserta didik. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan instrumen tes. Teknik analisis data keefektifitas menggunakan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa e-modul tematik berbasis discovery learning valid digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman peserta didik berdasarkan uji validasi produk dan efektifitas e-modul tematik berbasis discovery learning dengan hasil 0,36 di SDN 29 TBT dan 0,42 di SD Muhammadiyah TBT. Kata Kunci: Pemahaman, E-Modul, Discovery Learning. This research problem begins with the results of a needs analysis on student learning. This research aims to produce a thematic e-module product based on discovery learning that is feasible and effective in improving students' understanding abilities. This research is a type of Research and Developments (R&D) research, development is carried out referring to Borg & Gall's theory. The population of this study were students of class V Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara. This research sample used a saturated sampling technique taken from two different schools with a total of 50 students as respondents. Data collection tools use test instruments. The results of this research show that thematic e-modules based on discovery learning are valid to be used to improve students' understanding abilities based on product validation tests and the effectiveness of thematic e-modules based on discovery learning with a result of 0.36 at SDN 29 TBT and 0.42 at SD Muhammadiyah TBT.
