Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Manajemen Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Profesional Guru di Sekolah Penggerak (Studi di SMP Negeri 14 Mesuji Provinsi Lampung) dengan menggunakan metode PDCA (plan, do, check, act). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen yang saling terkait yang biasa disebut triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data melalui tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pada tahap perencanaan, program peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru di sekolah penggerak SMP Negeri 14 Mesuji menjadi program prioritas yang masuk dalam Rencana Kerja Jangka Menengah sehingga program tersebut dilaksanakan selama 4 tahun secara berkesinambungan. 2) Pada tahap pelaksanaan, kepala sekolah memfasilitasi guru dengan kegiatan in house training pengimbasan implementasi kurikulum merdeka, workshop perancangan pembelajaran dan asesmen, penyusunan modul ajar, bimtek penggunaan powerpoint dan canva, penilaian berbasis online, pemanfaatan platform merdeka mengajar, komunitas belajar dan studi banding ke sekolah lain. 3) Pada tahap pemeriksaan, kepala sekolah melakukan pemeriksaan secara langsung secara berkesinambungan dan mengidentifikasi kekurangan atau penghambat dalam pelaksanaan program. 4) Pada tahap tindak lanjut, kepala sekolah memastikan fasilitas penunjang yang memadai dan ketersediaan dana anggaran, serta kepala sekolah bersama komite pembelajaran dan guru melakukan Project Manajemen Office (PMO) secara rutin setiap akhir bulan. Kata kunci: kompetensi profesional guru, manajemen kepala sekolah, sekolah penggerak This study aims to describe the Management of School Principals in Improving the Professional Competence of Teachers in Sekolah Penggerak (Study at SMP Negeri 14 Mesuji, Lampung Province) by used the PDCA method (plan, do, check, act). The approach used in this research is qualitative with phenomenological research design. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, and interrelated document studies commonly called data triangulation. Data analysis techniques through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1) At the “plan” stage, the program to improve the professional competence of teachers in Sekolah Penggerak of SMP Negeri 14 Mesuji is a priority program included in the Medium Term Work Plan so that the program is implemented for 4 years continously. 2) At the “do” stage, the principal facilitates teachers with inhouse training activities on the implementation of the independent curriculum, workshops on learning design and assessment, preparation of teaching modules, technical guidance on the use of powerpoint and canva, online-based assessment, utilization of the independent teaching platform, learning community, and comparative studies to other schools. 3) At the “check” stage, the principal conducts direct inspection continously and identifies shortcomings or obstacles in the implementation of the program. 4) At the “act” stage, the principal ensures adequate supporting facilities and the availability of budget funds, and the principal together with the learning committee and teachers conduct a Project Management Office (PMO) regularly at the end of each month.
