PENGARUH TEKANAN KETAATAN DAN SELF ESTEEM TERHADAP BUDGETARY SLACK Oleh: Rahmad Ones ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membuktikan pengaruh tekanan ketaatan dan self esteem terhadap budgetary slack. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan dari penelitian Sugiri et al (2010) yang meneliti pengaruh tekanan ketaatan dan tanggung jawab persepsian pada penciptaan budgetary slack. hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: Kelompok responden yang memiliki kondisi self esteem yang tinggi jika diberikan tekanan ketaatan tinggi maka akan menghasilkan rekomendasi anggaran biaya yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan objek mahasiswa Program Profesi Akuntansi (16 orang) dan Pascasarjana Ilmu Akuntansi (46 orang). Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dalam bentuk eksperimen design 2 x 2 between subject. Sebelum melaksanakan eksperimen, penelitian ini diawali dengan melakukan pilot test untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen yang digunakan. Hipotesis yang disusun diuji dengan menggunakan one sample statistics dan analysis of variance (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh tekanan ketaatan dan self esteem yang tinggi terhadap budgetary slack. Semakin tinggi kondisi self esteem dan tekanan ketaatan yang diberikan, maka tingkat rekomendasi anggaran biaya akan tinggi atau terjadi slack dalam anggaran biaya. Kata kunci : Tekanan Ketaatan, Self Esteem dan Budgetary Slack PENGARUH TEKANAN KETAATAN DAN SELF ESTEEM PADA BUDGETARY SLACK By: Rahmad Ones ABSTRACK This research aims to analyze and prove the influence of obedience pressure and self esteem towards budgetary slack. this research is an extension from Sugiri et al research (2010) which examined the obedience pressure and perceived responsibility on creation of budgetary slack. the hypotesis are: the group of respondents who have a high self esteem condition and while given a high obedience pressure it will shows in a high expense budget recomendations. This study uses student object Accounting Profession Program (16 persons) and Magister of Science Accounting. The sample in this study chosen by purposive sampling method. This research design experiment in the form of 2 x 2 between subject. Before conducting actual experiment, this study conducted a pilot test to tested the validity and reliability on the instrument used. The hypotesis tested compiled using One Sample Statistics and Analysis of Variance (Anova). The result showed the influence of high obedience pressure and self esteem towards budgetary slack. the higher the condition of self esteem and obedience pressure that given, so the expense budget recomendations rate will be high, or occure a slack in expense budgetary.
