Seorang jurnalis memiliki kode etik sebagai dasar aturan yang perlu dipahami serta dipatuhi agar dapat mempertanggung jawabkan berita yang telah ia buat ke hadapan halayak. Lampung Post sebagai salah satu media berita Lampung, hadir menyajikan situs pemberitaan online dengan nama halaman Lampost.co. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskripstif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman kode etik jurnalistik seorang jurnalis pada portal media berita online Lampost.co serta menjelaskan bagaimana praktik penerapan jurnalis pada portal berita online Lampost.co terhadap kode etik jurnalistik. Untuk memperoleh hasil sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian, peneliti memperoleh data melalui proses observasi dan wawancara terhadap 5 wartawan Lampost.co sebagai informan penelitian. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa wartawan Lampost.co memahami kode etik jurnalistik. Melalui kegiatan rapat proyeksi dan pembobotan berita yang dilakukan oleh Lampost.co, wartawan berusaha menyajikan berita sesuai dengan etika profesional jurnalistik. Selanjutnya dalam usaha menjaga integritas profesi wartawan, Lampost.co dengan tegas memberikan sanksi berupa pemecatan secara tidak hormat bagi wartawan yang diketahui mencoba melakukan pemerasan dan menerima suap dalam bentuk apapun. Kata kunci: Kode Etik Jurnalistik, Berita Online, Lampost.co A journalist has a code of ethics as a basic rule that needs to be understood and obeyed in order to be accountable for the news he has created to the public. Lampung Post, as one of Lampung's news media, is here to present an online news site with the page name Lampost.co. By using qualitative-descriptive research methods, this research aims to determine the understanding of a journalist's journalistic code of ethics on the online news media portal Lampost.co and explain how journalists on the online news portal Lampost.co apply the journalistic code of ethics. To obtain results in accordance with the research objectives, researchers obtained data through the process of observing and interviewing 5 Lampost.co journalists as research informants. The results of the research can be concluded that Lampost.co journalists understand the journalistic code of ethics. Through projection meetings and news weighting activities carried out by Lampost.co, journalists try to present news in accordance with professional journalistic ethics. Furthermore, in an effort to maintain the integrity of the journalist profession, Lampost.co firmly provides sanctions in the form of dishonorable dismissal for journalists who are found to be trying to commit extortion and accept bribes in any form.
