Tindak Pidana Perdagangan orang (TPPO) merupakan bentuk modern dari perbudakan, perlakuan terburuk yang dialami orang terutama perempuan dan anak sebagai tindak kejahatan dan pelanggaran terhadap hak asasi manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengambarkan dan menganalisis strategi Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Provinsi Lampung dalam Pencegahan Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang di Provinsi Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa unsur strategi organisasi, strategi program, strategi pendukung sumberdaya dan strategi kelembagaan dalam pencegahan TPPO telah berjalan dengan cukup baik hal ini berdasarkan adanya relevansi antara keluaran program dan visi misi, namun program-program keluaran yang diandalkan oleh DPPPA Provinsi Lampung merupakan program lanjutan dari pemerintah pusat dengan tantangan kurang pemahaman akibat terjadinya TPPO sehingga proses pencegahan yang dilakukan baik dari DPPPA dan lembaga lainnya menjadi terhambat serta kurang maksimalnya koordinasi antara lembaga terkait yang mengakibatkan masih adanya kasus dan korban TPPO di Provinsi Lampung. Kata kunci : Strategi, DPPPA, TPPO The crime of human trafficking (TPPO) is a modern form of slavery, the worst treatment experienced by people, especially women and children, as a crime and violation of human rights. This research aims to describe and analyze the strategy of the Lampung Province Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service in preventing the crime of human trafficking in Lampung Province. The method used in this research is qualitative using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. The results of this research show that the indicators of organizational strategy, program Strategy and institutional strategy in preventing TIP have worked quite well, this is based on the relevance of program output and vision and mission, however, the output programs relied on by the Lampung Province DPPPA are follow-up programs from The central government is challenged by a lack of understanding of the consequences of TPPO so that the prevention process carried out by both the DPPPA and other institutions is hampered and there is less than optimal coordination between related institutions which results in the existence of TPPO cases and victims in Lampung Province.
