ABSTRAK Lumba-lumba hidung botolmerupakanmamalia laut yang cerdas dan memiliki sistem alamiah yang melengkapi tubuhnya sangat kompleks. lumba-lumba juga memiliki sistem untuk berkomunikasi dan menerima rangsang yang dinamakan Sound Navigation and Ranging(SONAR).Gelombang suara yang merambat pada media air dapat ditangkap dengan Hydrophone SQ26-H1. Teknologi alat ini dapat merekam karakteristik gelombang suara lumba-lumba di bawah air dengan baik karena tidak sedikit penelitian perekaman suara lumba-lumba menggunakan Microphone internal Personal Computer (PC) yang hasilnya kurang baik. Terapi autisme dengan lumba-lumba dapat menurunkan level keautisan pada individunya. Oleh karena itu analisa karakteristik suara lumba-lumba perlu dilakukan karena penelitian berikutnya karakteristik tersebut dapat diimplementasikan pada individu autistik. Ketiga karakteristik suara lumba-lumba (siulan, lengkingan dan klik) memiliki fungsi yang berbeda-beda dalam sistem komunikasinya, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa ketiga karakteristik tersebut dengan Software Wavelab 6 dan menyimulasikan hasil yang didapat dari analisa menggunakan metode pengkodean wicaraCode-Excited Linear Prediction(CELP) padaMatrix Laboratory (Matlab). Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan karakteristik gelombang suara lumba-lumba “klik” paling banyak keluar saat berlangsung terapi. Dan pengujian metode CELP pada laju bitrate 9,6 dan 16 kbps hanya mendekati kualitas sinyal asli. abstrak bahasa inggris Bottlenose dolphin is an intelligent marine mammals that has a natural system in the body which is very complex. Dolphins also have a system to communicate and receive stimulus, called Sound Navigation and Ranging ( SONAR ) .Sound waves propagating in aqueous media can be captured by hydrophones SQ26-H1. Technology tools can record dolphins sound wave characteristics underwater well many research dolphins records voice using the Personal Computer (PC) internal microphone that the results are less good. Autism therapy with dolphins can reduce autism at the individual level. Therefore, the analysis of the characteristics of dolphin sounds subsequent research needs to be done because these characteristics can be implemented in autistic individuals. The third characteristic of dolphin sounds ( whistling, burst and click ) have different functions within the communication system, this study was conducted to analyze three of these characteristics with Wavelab 6 Software and simulate the results obtained from the analysis using speech coding method Code-Excited Linear Prediction(CELP) based on Matrix Laboratory (Matlab). Results of research conducted sound wave characteristics dolphins " click " at the most out during a therapy. With CELP methods at a rate of 9.6 and 16 kbps bitrate only approximate the original signal quality.
