Abstract

Salah satu penyebab kerusakan lingkungan yaitu banyaknya pembanguan yang berada dilereng bukit dimana daerah tersebut dialih fungsikan menjadi pemukiman penduduk yang seharusnya dijadikan daerah tangkapan air/resapan air hujan sehingga menjaga kestabilan air dan tanah agar tidak terjadi bencana alam. Contoh yang timbul akibat bencana alam seperti longsor, atau tanah runtuh. Stabilisasi lereng berperan penting dalam meminimalkan resiko terjadinya kecelakaan dan kerugian material.
