Abstrak

ABSTRAK PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PROBIOTIK DARI MIKROBA LOKAL TERHADAP TEBAL KERABANG , PENURUNAN BERAT, DAN NILAI HAUGH UNIT TELUR YANG DISIMPAN SEPULUH HARI Oleh Jenny Marthika Sari Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) mengetahui pengaruh pemberian probiotik lokal terhadap tebal kerabang, penurunan berat, dan nilai haugh unit telur yang disimpan sepuluh hari; 2) mengetahui tingkat pemberian probiotik lokal yang terbaik terhadap tebal kerabang, penurunan berat, dan nilai haugh unit telur yang disimpan sepuluh hari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 8—19 Desember 2014 di kandang ayam petelur milik CV. Varia Agung Jaya, Desa Varia Agung, Kecamatan Seputih Mataram, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah dan 20 Desember 2014—18 Januari 2015 di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi, Laboratorium Biologi Molekuler FMIPA, Universitas Lampung. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan pemberian probiotik lokal dalam ransum (0%,1%,2%,dan 3%) dan 5 kali ulangan.Data yang diperoleh dianalisi menggunakan analisis ragam pada taraf 5% dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Polinomial Ortogonal pada taraf 5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan: pemberian probiotik lokal dalam ransum (0%,1%,2%, dan 3%) tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap penurunan berat telur dan nilai haugh unit telur yang disimpan sepuluh hari, tetapi memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap tebal kerabang. Peningkatan presentase pemberian probiotik lokal pada ransum akan meningkatan tebal kerabang yang ditunjukan dengan persamaan regresi ŷ = 0,42 + 0,24x, dengan nilai r = 0,68 dan R2 = 0,47. Kata kunci : Probiotik lokal, tebal kerabang, penurunan berat telur dan nilai Haugh Unit. ABSTRACT THE EFFECT PROBIOTIC SUPPLEMENTS OF LOCAL MICROBES ON SHELL THICKNESS, WEIGHT LOSS, AND VALUE OF THE HAUGH UNIT EGG WHICH STORED TEN DAYS By Jenny Marthika Sari This study aims to 1) determine the effect probiotics local supplements on shell thickness, percentage of weight loss, and value of Haugh unit eggs which stored ten days; 2) determine the optimal level supplements probiotics local on shell thickness, presentage of weight loss, and value of Haugh unit eggs which stored ten days. This research was conducted on 08--19 December 2014 in the henhouse laying owned by CV. Varia Agung Jaya, the village of Varia, the District of Seputih Mataram, Center of Lampung Regency and 20 December 2014--18 January 2015 at the Laboratory of Microbiology, Laboratory of Molecular Biology Faculty, University of Lampung. The study used completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments of lokal probiotics in the diet (0%, 1%, 2%, and 3%) and 5 replications. Data obtained was analyzed using analysis of variance at 5% level and continued Orthogonal Polynomial test at 5% level. Based on these results we can conclude: local probiotics in the diet (0%,1%,2%, and 3%) no significant effect (P> 0.05) against the percentage of weight loss and value of Haugh unit eggs stored ten days, but significant effect (P <0.05) of shell thickness. Increasing the percentage of local probiotic on the ration will improve shell thickness indicated by the regression equation ŷ = 0.42 + 0,24x, with r = 0.68 and R2 = 0.47. Keywords: local probiotics, shell thickness, weight loss, and value of Haugh unit.
