Jasa lingkungan hidrologis hutan berupa sumberdaya air merupakan salah satu jasa lingkungan terpenting yang dihasilkan hutan. Aliran air yang keluar dari mata air yang bersumber dari areal hutan digunakan untuk memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan salah satunya kebutuan rumah tangga bertujuan untuk menghitung nilai ekonomi jasa lingkungan air di Desa Paku Negara, Kecamatan Pesisir Selatan, Kabupaten Pesisir Barat, dengan menggunakan pendekatan Willingness to Pay/ kesediaan membayar (WTP). Jasa lingkungan air yang dihasilkan dari Sungai Way Biha, yang mengalir melalui kawasan Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan, dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk kebutuhan rumah tangga (MCK). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April – Mei 2024, dengan metode purposive sampling untuk memilih 63 responden dari 170 kepala keluarga (KK) pengguna air sungai. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dan kuesioner, sementara data sekunder didapatkan dari literatur dan instansi terkait. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, nilai ekonomi pemanfaatan air untuk rumah tangga di Desa Paku Negara mencapai Rp 83.074.800 per bulan atau Rp 996.897.600 per tahun. Namun, tingkat kesediaan membayar masyarakat masih rendah, dengan hanya 28,57% responden bersedia membayar sebesar Rp 3.174,60 per KK per bulan, jauh di bawah nilai yang seharusnya. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kesediaan membayar adalah pengetahuan tentang konservasi sumber daya air, dengan pengaruh sebesar 0,839. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pengetahuan tentang konservasi air penting untuk meningkatkan kesediaan masyarakat dalam membayar jasa lingkungan air, demi menjaga keberlanjutan sumber daya tersebut. This study aims to calculate the economic value of water environmental services in Paku Negara Village, Pesisir Selatan District, Pesisir Barat Regency, using the Willingness to Pay (WTP) approach. The water environmental services generated from the Way Biha River, which flows through the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park area, are utilized by the community for household needs (sanitation). This research was conducted from April to May 2024, using purposive sampling to select 63 respondents from 170 households (KK) that use river water. Primary data were obtained through interviews and questionnaires, while secondary data were acquired from literature and related agencies. Based on the analysis results, the economic value of water use for households in Paku Negara Village reaches IDR 83,074,800 per month or IDR 996,897,600 per year. However, the level of community willingness to pay remains low, with only 28.57% of respondents willing to pay IDR 3,174.60 per household per month, which is far below the expected value. The main factor influencing willingness to pay is knowledge about water resource conservation, with an influence of 0.839. This study indicates that increasing knowledge about water conservation is essential for enhancing community willingness to pay for water environmental services, in order to maintain the sustainability of these resources.
