Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak industri melalui pengamatan fenomena dampak sosial ekonomi pada masyarakat sekitar PT Jaya Mulia Techindo di Kecamatan Metro Pusat, Kota Metro. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode wawancara yang dilengkapi dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Penggunaan metode wawancara dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi-informasi dalam bentuk pernyataanpernyataan lisan mengenai suatu obyek atau peristiwa pada masa lalu, kini, dan akan datang. Pernyataan responden kemudian dituangkan menjadi narasi deskriptif disertai tabel untuk melihat perbandingan sebelum dan sesudah adanya keberadaan industri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) Total masyarakat yang mengalami peningkatan pendapatan sebanyak 6 orang dengan persentase 30% dari total responden sebanyak 20 orang. (2) Setelah keberadaan PT Jaya Mulia Techindo, masyarakat melakukan peralihan mata pencaharian dengan menjajaki sektor lainnya seperti sektor perdagangan sebanyak 5 orang (25%). (3) Kepemilikan lahan sebelum keberadaan PT Jaya Mulia Techindo berjumlah 3 orang, mengalami perubahan berkurang 2 orang setelah industri eksisting. Hal ini dikarenakan PT Jaya Mulia Techindo melakukan perluasan lahan pabrik. (4) Peningkatan persepsi masyarakat terhadap kesempatan kerja yang semula berjumlah 10 orang sebelum keberadaan PT Jaya Mulia Techindo meningkat menjadi 15 orang. Kata kunci: dampak, sosial, ekonomi, industri iii ABSTRACT SOCIO-ECONOMIC IMPACT OF THE EXISTENCE OF PT JAYA MULIA TECHINDO ON THE SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT IN CENTRAL METRO DISTRICT By Debora Fajar Arum This research aims to find out how the impact of industry is through the observation of the phenomenon of socio-economic impact on the community around PT Jaya Mulia Techindo in Metro District, Central Metro City. The method in this study is qualitative descriptive using an interview method equipped with observation and documentation. The use of the interview method is carried out to obtain information in the form of oral statements about an object or event in the past, present, and future. The respondents' statements were then poured into a descriptive narrative accompanied by a table to see the comparison before and after the existence of the industry. The results of the study showed: (1) The total number of people who experienced an increase in income was 6 people with a percentage of 30% of the total respondents as many as 20 people. (2) After the existence of PT Jaya Mulia Techindo, people switched their livelihoods by exploring other sectors such as the trade sector as many as 5 people (25%). (3) Land ownership before the existence of PT Jaya Mulia Techindo amounted to 3 people, experienced a change of 2 people after the existing industry. This is because PT Jaya Mulia Techindo is expanding the factory land. (4) Increase in public perception of job opportunities which originally amounted to 10 people before the existence of PT Jaya Mulia Techindo increased to 15 people.
