Difteri adalah salah satu penyakit menular yang menyerang saluran pernapasan atas yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Corynebacterium diphtheriae. Suatu wilayah dinyatakan KLB Difteri jika ditemukan minimal satu Suspek Difteri. Provinsi Lampung merupakan salah satu provinsi yang mengalami kejadian luar biasa difteri, temuan kasus difteri di provinsi lampung pada tahun 2023 berjumlah 23 kasus. Lampung Barat dinyatakan KLB difteri pada tahun 2023 dengan satu penderita meninggal dunia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan fakor Host dan lingkungan dengan kejadian difteri di lampung barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian metode campuran sekuensial eksplanasi (mix method) dengan penelitian kuantitatif dan dilanjutkan penelitian kualitatif, penelitian kuantitatif yaitu observasional analitik dengan pendekatan case control dan penelitian kualitatif yaitu wawancara mendalam (indept interview). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April- Aguatus 2024. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 44 yang terdiri dari 11 sampel kasus dan 33 sampel kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan analisis chi square dan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada hubungan antara faktor host (riwayat kontak P-value 0,000 OR 72,5 dan pengetahuan P-value 0,030 OR 6,4). Faktor environment (ventilasi rumah P-value 0,031 OR 6,2, lantai rumah P-value 0,037 OR 6,9 pencahayaan rumah P-value 0,028 OR 5,5). Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa riwayat kontak, ventilasi dan lantai rumah merupakan faktor yang paling dominan/ berpengaruh dengan kejadian difteri di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Rawat Inap Kenali Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Kata Kunci: KLB, Difteri, Faktor Risiko, Host, Enviroment Diphtheria is an infectious disease that attacks the upper respiratory tract caused by the bacteria Corynebacterium diphtheriae. An area is declared a Diphtheria Outbreak if at least one Diphtheria Suspect is found. Lampung Province is one of the provinces that has experienced extraordinary cases of diphtheria. The number of diphtheria cases in Lampung Province in 2023 was 23 cases. West Lampung was declared a diphtheria outbreak in 2023 with one patient dying. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between host and environmental factors with the incidence of diphtheria in West Lampung. This research is a mixed method research, sequential explanation (mix method) with quantitative research and continued with qualitative research, quantitative research, namely analytical observational with a case control approach and qualitative research, namely in- depth interviews. This research was carried out from April 2024 to August 2024. The samples in this study were 44, consisting of 11 case samples and 33 control samples. Data analysis used chi square analysis and logistic regression. The results of this study show that there is a relationship between host factors (contact history P-value 0.000 OR 72.5 and knowledge P-value 0.030 OR 6.4). Environmental factors (house ventilation P-value 0.031 OR 6.2, house floor P- value 0.037 OR 6.9 house lighting P-value 0.028 OR 5 .5). The research results concluded that contact history, ventilation and house flooring were the most dominant/influencing factors in the incidence of diphtheria in the Kenali Inpatient Health Center working area, West Lampung Regency.
