Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (BBSNP) provides a natural habitat for several wild felids, including the sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) and four other species in the Felidae Family: the sunda clouded leopard (Neofelis diardi), the golden cat (Catopuma temminckii), the marbled cat (Pardofelis marmorata), and the leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis). Understanding the interactions among these species can be achieved by examining their spatial and temporal activity overlaps. Camera trap data collected in 2019 recorded the presence of these four felids, with a total of 1,818 photographs, including 182 of the golden cat, 74 of the sunda clouded leopard, 60 of the marbled cat, and 19 of the leopard cat. Temporal and spatial overlap indices were calculated using RStudio and QGIS software. Results show that the sunda clouded leopard has the greatest spatial overlap with the golden cat, while the least spatial overlap occurs with the leopard cat. In terms of temporal overlap, the sunda clouded leopard has the greatest overlap with the leopard cat, and the marbled cat shows the least overlap with the leopard cat. The observed overlaps suggest that these felids may be utilizing both shared and distinct spatial and temporal resources, likely as a strategy for resource partitioning and niche differentiation. This study sheds light on the spatial and temporal dynamics of felid interactions in BBSNP, providing valuable insights for conservation efforts and management of these species in their shared habitat.
