Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

This study investigated the effectiveness of using Web-Blog as a teaching medium to improve writing abilities among tenth grade students at SMA Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung during the 2024/2025 school year. Recognizing the important role of writing in academic and professional contexts, this study aimed to address the common problem of inadequate writing skills among students. The study utilized a pre-experimental design, using pre-test and post-test to measure the improvement of writing abilities, particularly in creating descriptive texts. The findings showed a significant improvement in students' writing scores after the implementation of Web-Blog as a pedagogical tool. The average score increased from 61.15 in the pre-test to 89.43 in the post-test, which showed a statistically significant increase (p<0.05). This improvement was due to the interactive and engaging nature of the blog, which encouraged students to express their ideas creatively while receiving constructive feedback. This study concludes that integrating Web-Blogs into English writing instruction can improve students' ability to learn effective thinking writing abilities. This research contributes to the field of English education by providing insights into innovative teaching methods that utilize technology to improve language proficiency. Future implications suggest further exploration of digital platforms in educational settings to improve learning outcomes across a range of subjects.
