Abstract

Inflasi dan pengangguran adalah masalah pelik yang selalu dihadapi oleh Negara Indonesia terkait belum berkualitasnya pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana kausalitas antara inflasi dan pengangguran. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis kausalitas antara inflasi dan pengangguran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder dari tahun 1990-2023, yaitu data yang dipublikasikan oleh Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS). Berdasarkan hasil uji kausalitas granger menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan satu arah yakni inflasi mempengaruhi pengangguran, dengan nilai Prob probabilitasnya 0,02787 < 0,05. Terdapat hubungan kausalitas antara inflasi dan pengangguran di Provinsi Lampung. Pengaruh yang sinifikan ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan dalam jangka panjang, ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji kointegrasi dimana nilai probabilitas untuk masing- masing variabel lebih kecil dari 0.05. Kata kunci : Inflasi, Pengangguran, Kausalitas Granger ABSTRACT KAUSALITAS INFLASI DAN PENGANGGURAN DI PROVINSI LAMPUNG By A Fadillah Putra Kusuma Inflation and unemployment are complicated problems that are always faced by the Indonesian State due to the lack of quality economic growth. This research was conducted to see the causality between inflation and unemployment. The research objective is to analyze the causality between inflation and unemployment. This research is descriptive and quantitative research. The data used in this research is secondary data from 1990-2023, namely data published by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Based on the results of the Granger causality test, it shows that there is a one-way relationship, namely inflation affects unemployment, with a Prob probability value of 0.02787 < 0.05. There is a causal relationship between inflation and unemployment in Lampung Province. This significant influence shows that there is a long-term relationship, this is proven by the results of the cointegration test where the probability value for each variable is smaller than 0.05.
