Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Tanah berpasir merupakan tanah yang kurang baik bagi pertumbuhan tanaman. Kondisi kemantapan agregat pada tanah berpasir pada umumnya tergolong lemah. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena tanah berpasir memiliki kandungan bahan organik yang rendah sehingga sedikit sekali tanaman yang dapat tumbuh di tanah berpasir. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemantapan agregat pada tanah berpasir dapat dilakukan dengan cara pemberian pupuk organik tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan pupuk NPK. Bahan organik yang diberikan ke tanah memiliki fungsi sebagai lem perekat antar partikel tanah, sehingga diharapkan dapat memperbaiki kemantapan agregat pada tanah berpasir. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2023 sampai dengan Maret 2024 di Desa Marga Agung, Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini dirancang dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri 7 perlakuan yaitu A = Kontrol; B = 1 NPK (350 kg/ha Urea, 100 kg/ha SP- 36, 75 kg/ha KCl); C = 3⁄4 NPK; D = 3⁄4 NPK + 2 ton/ha Residu Pupuk Organik; E = 3⁄4 NPK + 4 ton/ha Residu Pupuk Organik; F = 3⁄4 NPK + 6 ton/ha Residu Pupuk Organik); G = 1 NPK + 8 ton/ha Residu Pupuk Organik. Variabel pengamatan meliputi kemantapan agregat, C-organik, tesktur tanah, dan ktk tanah. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan membandingkan hasil analisis dengan kriteria kelas penetapan yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kemantapan agregat tidak di pengaruhi oleh residu pupuk organik tandan kosong kelapa sawit (TKKS) dan pupuk NPK. Perlakuan E = 3⁄4 NPK + 4 ton/ha Pupuk Organik memiliki kemantapan agregat paling baik dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya., (2) Faktor pendukung pada penelitian ini seperti C-organik, tekstur tanah, dan ktk tanah belum mampu untuk meningkatkan agregasi tanah pada tanah berpasir. Kata kunci : Ayakan kering dan basah, kemantapan agregat tanah, pupuk organik, tandan kosong kelapa sawit, tanah berpasir. The sandy soil is not conducive for plant growth. The stability of aggregate conditions in sandy soil is generally weak. This is because sandy soil has low organic matter content, resulting in very few plants being able to grow in sandy soil. Efforts to improve aggregate stability in sandy soil can be done by applying empty palm oil bunches and NPK organic fertilizers. The organic matter provided to the soil acts as a binder between soil particles, thus it is expected to improve aggregate stability in sandy soil. This research was conducted from July 2023 to March 2024 in Marga Agung Village, South Lampung. This research was designed in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments, namely A = Control; B = 1 NPK (350 kg/ha Urea, 100 kg/ha SP-36, 75 kg/ha KCl); C = 3⁄4 NPK; D = 3⁄4 NPK + 2 tons/ha Organic Fertilizer Residue; E = 3⁄4 NPK + 4 tons/ha Organic Fertilizer Residue; F = 3⁄4 NPK + 6 tons/ha Organic Fertilizer Residue); G = 1 NPK + 8 tons/ha Organic Fertilizer Residue. The observation variables include aggregate stability, organic carbon, soil texture, and soil pH. The data was quantitatively analyzed, where the homogeneity of variance was tested using Bartlett's test and the additivity of the data was examined using Tukey's test. If the assumptions are met, an analysis of variance is conducted, and the mean values are tested using the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at a 5% significance level. Additionally, qualitative analysis was performed by comparing the analysis results with the existing determination class criteria. The results showed that: (1) Aggregate stability was not affected by the residue of empty palm oil bunches (EPB) and NPK fertilizers. Treatment E = 3⁄4 NPK + 4 ton/ha Organic Fertilizer had the best aggregate stability compared to other treatments. (2) Supporting factors in this study such as organic carbon, soil texture, and soil pH have not been able to increase soil aggregation in sandy soil.
