Abstract

ABSTRAK Masalah dalam penelitian adalah self control siswa yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik diskusi untuk meningatkan self control pada siswa kelas X di SMK Swadhipa 2 Natar Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Pre Eksperiment dengan Pretest and Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 10 siswa yang memiliki self control yang rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self control. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test, dengan menggunakan perhitungan SPSS 25 diperoleh zhitung = -2,805 < ztabel = 1,645 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik diskusi dapat meningatkan self control pada siswa kelas X SMK Natar Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Kata kunci: bimbingan dan konseling, bimbingan kelompok teknik diskusi, self control. ABSTRACT The problem in research is students' low self-control. This research aims to determine the use of discussion technique group guidance services to improve self- control in class X students at SMK Swadhipa 2 Natar for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is the Pre Experiment method with Pretest and Posttest Design. The research subjects were 10 students who had low, medium and high self-control. The data collection technique uses a self-control scale. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test, using SPSS 25 calculations to obtain zcount = -2.805 < ztable = 1.645, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The conclusion of the research is that discussion technique group guidance services can improve self-control in class X students at Natar Vocational School for the 2023/2024 academic year.
