Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji motivasi wisatawan meliputi motivasi rekreasi, belanja, mengetahui budaya, mengunjungi keluarga/teman, dan Pendidikan yang berkunjung objek wisata Bumi Kedaton resort di Kecamatan Teluk Betung Barat, Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengolah data pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan analisis deskriftif kuantitatif. Kuesioner diberikan kepada 60 responden yang mengunjungi objek wisata Bumi Kedaton Resort, diambil dengan sampling incidental. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, kuesioner menggunakan skala likert, serta wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi wisatawan berkunjung ke objek Bumi Kedaton Resort meliputi (1) rekreasi merupakan motivasi yang mempunyai nilai modus 21 dengan indeks rata-rata 4,2 yang tergolong dalam katagori kuat, (2) motivasi belanja atau kuliner merupakan motivasi yang mempunyai nilai modus 10 dengan indeks rata-rata 5,00 yang tergolong dalam katagori sangat kuat, (3) motivasi mengetahui budaya merupakan motivasi yang mempunyai nilai modus 8 dengan indeks rata-rata 2,00 yang tergolong dalam katagori lemah, (4) motivasi mengunjungi keluarga atau teman merupakan motivasi yang mempunyai nilai modus 4 dengan indeks rata-rata 2,00 yang tergolong dalam katagori lemah, (5) motivasi pendidikan termasuk motivasi yang mempunyai nilai modus 8 dengan indeks rata-rata 4,00 yang tergolong dalam katagori kuat. Kesimpulan umum penelitian bahwa motivasi wisatawan berkunjung ke objek Bumi Kedaton Resort meliputi rekreasi, belanja atau kuliner, dan pendidikan. Kata Kunci: Motivasi,Wisata, Bumi Kedaton Resort This research aims to examine tourist motivation including motivation for recreation, shopping, knowing culture, visiting family/friends, and education who visit the Bumi Kedaton resort tourist attraction in Teluk Betung Barat District, Bandar Lampung. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The data analysis technique used to process the data in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis. Questionnaires were given to 60 respondents who visited the Bumi Kedaton Resort tourist attraction, taken by incidental sampling. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, documentation, questionnaires using a Likert scale, and interviews. The results of the research show that the motivation of tourists to visit the Bumi Kedaton Resort object includes (1) recreation which is a motivation that has a mode value of 21 with an average index of 4.2 which is classified in the strong category, (2) shopping or culinary motivation is a motivation that has a value mode 10 with an average index of 5.00 which is classified in the very strong category, (3) motivation to know culture is a motivation that has a mode value of 8 with an average index of 2.00 which is classified in the weak category, (4) motivation to visit family or friends is motivation that has a mode value of 4 with an average index of 2.00 which is classified in the weak category, (5) educational motivation includes motivation that has a mode value of 8 with an average index of 4.00 which is classified in the strong category. The general conclusion of the research is that tourists' motivations for visiting the Bumi Kedaton Resort include recreation, shopping or culinary delights, and education.
