Abstract

Pesisir utara Banten sepanjang Kecamatan Pulo Ampel dan Bojonegara merupakan wilayah industri yang berada pada wilayah pesisir. Aktivitas industri dapat menyebabkan perairan wilayah pesisir Pulo Ampel dan Bojonegara mengalami penurunan kualitas perairan, terutama pencemaran logam berat Pb dan Cd pada air dan sedimen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi lingkungan dan kandungan logam berat Pb dan Cd di perairan Pulo Ampel dan Bojonegara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli – September 2023 dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdeteksinya kandungan logam berat baik Pb maupun Cd pada badan air, sedangkan pada sedimen, kandungan logam baik Pb maupun Cd sama-sama terdeteksi dengan konsentrasi yang sangat rendah dan jauh di bawah baku mutu yang telah ditetapkan oleh WAC 173-204-320 Kata kunci: Perairan pulo ampel, perairan Bojonegara, Pb, Cd, sedimen Northern coast of Banten along Pulo Ampel and Bojonegara Districts is an industrial area located in the coastal zone. Industrial activities can cause the coastal waters of Pulo Ampel and Bojonegara to experience a decline in water quality, especially heavy metals Pb and Cd in water and sediments. This research aimed to analyze environmental contions and the content of heavy metals Pb and Cd in waters Pulo Ampel and Bojonegara. This research was carried out in July – September 2023 with descriptive analysis. The result of the research showed that the heavy metal content, both Pb and Cd was not detected in the water body, meanwhile in sediments, the metal content Pb and Cd was detected at very low concentration and far below the quality standarts of WAC 173-204-320.
