Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran matematika di SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media realia melalui pendekatan matematika realistik terhadap berpikir kritis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitan eksperimen. Desain penelitian menggunakan non-equivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan jenis teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pada penggunaan media realia melalui pendekatan matematika realistik terhadap berpikir kritis peserta didik pada kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi. Kata Kunci: berpikir kritis, media realia, pendekatan matematika realistik The problem in this study was the low critical thinking ability of learners on mathematics subjects at SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi. The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the influence on the use of real media through a realistic mathematical education to the critical thinking of students. This type of research is a quantitative research with an experimental design. The research design used is non-equivalent control group design. Research sampling techniques use nonprobability sampling with a type of saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques with test in the form of pretest and posttest. The result of this research are that there is an influence on the use of real media through a realistic mathematical education to the critical thinking of students in class V of SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi.
