Spline truncated merupakan suatu metode statistika yang digunakan dalam regresi nonparametrik yang penggunaannya dilakukan apabila bentuk kurva regresi diasumsikan tidak diketahui. Dengan demikian, pendekatan regresi nonparametrik tidak tergantung pada asumsi bentuk kurva regresi tertentu sehingga memiliki fleksibilitas yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kejahatan curanmor di Provinsi Lampung dan mengestimasi model regresi nonparametrik spline truncated pada data faktor-faktor persentase curanmor di Provinsi Lampung. Dari hasil analisis model diperoleh nilai GCV terendah sebesar 0.000015 dan koefisien determinasi berdasarkan model regresi nonparametrik spline truncated sebesar 99.14%. Artinya model tersebut mampu menjelaskan 99.14% keragaman persentase curanmor di Lampung tahun 2021-2022, sedangkan sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model. NON-PARAMETRIC REGRESSION MODEL USING CUT SPLINE ON FACTORS INFLUENCING VEHICLE THEFT RATE IN LAMPUNG By Diah Kusuma Ningsih Truncated spline is a statistical method used to nonparametric regression which is used when the shape of the regression curve is assumed to be unknown. Therefore, the nonparametric regression approach does not depend on assuming a particular shape of the regression curve so it has high flexibility. The aim of this research is to find out what factors influence theft crimes in Lampung Province and estimate a truncated spline nonparametric regression model on data on factors of the percentage of thefts in Lampung Province. From the results of the model analysis, the lowest GCV value was obtained at 0.000015 and the coefficient of determination based on the truncated spline nonparametric regression model was 99.14%. This means that the model is able to explain 99.14% of the variation in the percentage of theft in Lampung in 2021-2022, while the rest is explained by other variables not included in the model.
