Abstract
ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF FAMILY, PEERS, NEIGHBORS ENVIRONMENT ON THE DEVIANT BEHAVIOUR OF SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN WHO WORK AS SCAVENGER (A Case Studies at District III of Tanjung Karang, Central Tanjung Karang, Bandar Lampung) by Anga Resmana This study was conducted to investigate the influence of family environment, peers, and neighbors on deviant behavior of school age scavengers. It was conducted at Environment III of Tanjung Karang, Central Tanjung Karang Bandar Lampung. The type of this research is quantitative study which used survey methods. There had been chosen 22 persons as sample of the study. The data collection techniques used was questionnaires and interviews. Based on the analysis and result of the research, it can be seen that there is an influence between the numbers of hours in which elementary school age child scavenger interact with his family and their deviant behavior. The higher the number of hours spent with their family, the smaller the level of their deviant behavior. There is no effect between the number of hours spent with either peers or neighbors and their deviant behavior. It is concluded that the family has a very big role to develop the child's personality.
