Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model perilaku transformational leadership dan ethical leadership kepala sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Developments (R&D), Pengembangan dilakukan mengacu pada teori Borg & Gall. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah di Gugus 1 Diponegoro, Kecamatan Kasui, Kabupaten Way Kanan. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik total sampling yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu berjumlah 9 kepala sekolah di Gugus 1 Diponegoro. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan instrumen tes yang valid dan reliabel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji kepraktisan dan kelayakan kuesioner dengan hasil perhitungan nilai rata-rata sebesar 90 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan dari hasil penelitian tersebut model perilaku transformational leadership dan ethical leadership kepala sekolah dasar praktis dalam menciptakan sekolah unggul. Kata Kunci: Ethical Leadership,Sekolah Unggul, Transformational Leadership This research aims to produce a model of transformational leadership and ethical leadership behavior for elementary school principals. This research is a type of Research and Developments (R&D) research, development is carried out referring to Borg & Gall's theory. The population of this study were school principals in Gugus 1 Diponegoro, Kasui District, Way Kanan Regency. The sample for this research was determined using a total sampling technique which was in accordance with the research objectives, namely 9 school principals in Gugus 1 Diponegoro. Data collection tools use valid and reliable test instruments. The data analysis technique uses a practicality and feasibility test of the questionnaire with a calculated average value of 90 in the very practical category. Based on the data obtained from the research results, the transformational leadership and ethical leadership behavior models of elementary school principals are practical in creating superior schools.
