Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Educational technology has a great influence and contribution to the world of education. The application of multimedia in learning can be used in several subject matters including Hinduism education. Learning through multimedia is "student oriented", namely students themselves who find material and construct their understanding through the media used. For this reason, this study aims to analyse the potential and conditions, development process, characteristics and effectiveness of interactive multimedia development to improve learning outcomes of Hindu leadership material at SMPN 03 Mesuji. This research is a development research. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, unstructured interviews, giving questionnaires and test instruments. The sampling technique in this study amounted to 30 students of SMPN 03 Mesuji who were Hindu. The effectiveness data analysis technique uses the N-Gain formula and the t test. The results of the study 1) the potential and conditions of development are needed, the tendency of the learning process tends to be monotonous, especially from the sources and learning media of Hinduism education; 2) the interactive multimedia development process involves material experts, media experts, design experts and small group tests obtained a recapitulation result of 88.7%. ("Very Feasible"); 3) the characteristics of interactive multimedia are equipped with video examples of Hindu religious leadership, students analyse, and find their own questions that arise, students directly illustrate the concepts of leadership in Hinduism and this interactive multimedia uses an online internet network to be accessed; 4) The effectiveness of interactive multimedia is an increase of 83.3% and the significance of the influence is 0.000 with a t-count of 91.414, interactive multimedia has an influence on the learning outcomes of Hindu religious leadership material for class VII students of SMPN 03 Mesuji.
