Background: Hypertensive patients are often given combination therapy according to the patient's condition, the drugs used have a high risk of potential drug interactions. The aim of the research is to determine potential drug interactions and factors that influence potential drug interactions in hypertensive patients. Method: Cross-sectional descriptive-analytical research type. Using medical record data from January – June 2023. Sample collection was carried out using the purposive sampling method. Evaluation of potential drug interactions refers to Drugs.com. Bivariate data analysis using the Chi-Square test and multivariate using Multiple Logistic Regression Analysis. Results: 135 prescriptions, there were 90 prescriptions that had the potential for drug interactions. Types of therapy that have the potential to experience pharmacokinetic interactions are 24 (8.69%), pharmacodynamic interactions 197 (71.37%), and unknown interactions 55 (19.92%). The severity of potential drug interactions was major in 29 (10.50%) prescriptions, moderate interactions in 193 (69.92%) prescriptions and minor interactions in 54 (19.56%) prescriptions. Bivariate statistical analysis showed that there was an influence of age and number of medications on the potential for drug interactions in hypertensive with P-values of 0.024 and 0.002. Multivariate statistical analysis showed that the dominant relationship among other factors was the number of drugs. Conclusion: There is an influence of age and amount of drugs on potential interactions and a dominant influence on potential drug interactions in patients hypertensive RSD. Dr. A. Keywords: Hypertension, Influence, Potential interaction Latar Belakang: pasien hipertensi seringkali diberikan terapi kombinasi sesuai kondisi pasien, obat-obat yang digunakan berisiko tinggi terhadap potensi interaksi obat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui potensi interaksi obat dan faktor yang mempengaruhi potensi interaksi obat pada pasien hipertensi. Metode: Jenis penelitian deskriptif-analitik pendekatan secara Cross-sectional. Menggunakan data rekam medik Januari – Juni 2023. Pengambilan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Evaluasi potensi interaksi obat mengacu pada Drugs.com. Analisis data bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan multivariat menggunakan Analisis Regresi Logistik Berganda. Hasil: 135 resep terdapat 90 resep yang berpotensi interaksi obat. Jenis terapi yang berpotensi mengalami interaksi farmakokinetik 24 (8,69%), interaksi farmakodinamik 197 (71,37%), dan interaksi unknown 55 (19,92%). Tingkat keparahan potensi interaksi obat major 29 (10,50%) resep, interaksi moderate 193 (69,92%) resep dan interaksi minor pada 54 (19,56%) resep. Analisis statistik bivariat menunjukan terdapat pengaruh usia dan jumlah obat terhadap potensi interaksi obat pasien hipertensi dengan P-value 0,024 dan 0,002. Analisis statistik multivariat menunjukan hubungan yang dominan diantara faktor lainnya adalah jumlah obat. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh usia dan jumlah obat terhadap potensi interaksi dan pengaruh yang dominan terhadap potensi interaksi obat pada pasien hipertensi RSD. Dr. A.
