Madu merupakan salah satu komoditi dari Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu (HHBK) yang merupakan salah satu penggerak perekonomian di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data Kementerian Perindustrian (2019) nilai impor tertinggi selama lima tahun terakhir adalah tahun 2018 sebesar US$7.402, hal tersebut berkebalikan dengan nilai ekspor yang sangat kecil di tahun yang sama yaitu sebesar US$756. Hal tersebut menggambarkan bahwa industri madu memiliki pangsa pasar yang luas dan sangat prospektif sehingga banyak para peternak dan pengusaha madu berkompetisi dibidang usaha madu. Penelitian ini akan melihat apakah dengan besarnya peluang usaha budidaya lebah madu, usaha ini layak dikembangkan baik dalam segi aspek finansial dan non finansial, serta melihat apakah jika terjadi peningkatan biaya produksi dan penurunan tingkat produksi usaha ini tetap layak dikembangkan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dari segi segi aspek finansial dan aspek non finansial, usaha budidaya lebah madu di Desa Pemerihan Kabupaten Pesisir Barat ini memiliki potensi dan layak untuk dikembangkan. Serta ketika terjadi penurunan tingkat produksi mencapai angka 30 persen usaha budidaya lebah madu di Desa Pemerihan Kabupaten Pesisir Barat ini tetap layak dilanjutkan. Untuk analisis sensitivitas peningkatan biaya produksi usaha budidaya lebah madu Desa Pemerihan ini juga tetap layak dikembangan dengan tingkat peningkatan biaya produksi sebesar 74 persen. Based on data from the Ministry of Industry (2019) the highest import value over the past five years was in 2018 amounting to US$7,402, this contrasts with the very small export value in the same year of US$756. This illustrates that the honey industry has a wide market share and is very prospective so that many honey farmers and entrepreneurs compete in the honey business. This study will see whether with the large business opportunities of honey bee cultivation, this business is worth developing both in terms of financial and non-financial aspects, and see whether if there is an increase in production costs and a decrease in production levels this business is still worth developing. The results show that in terms of financial and non-financial aspects, honey bee farming in Pemerihan Village, Pesisir Barat Regency has potential and is feasible to develop. And when there is a decrease in production levels reaching 30 percent, the honey bee farming business in Pemerihan Village, Pesisir Barat Regency is still feasible to continue. For the sensitivity analysis of increasing production costs, the Pemerihan Village honey bee cultivation business is also still feasible to develop with an increase in production costs of 74 percent.
