Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana peran Perempuan yang bekerja pada sektor industri ikan asin dalam perekonomian keluarga nelayan. Adapun istri ikut berkontribusi dalam perekonomian keluarganya diakrenakan kondisi ekonomi keluarganya atau hanya sekedar melepaksan waktu luang. Istri nelayan bekerja sebagai pemilik usaha ataupun bekerja sebagai buruh di industri ikan asin. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tipe penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 10 orang informan, dengan 5 orang informan utama dan 5 orang pendukung. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa Perempuan yang ikut bekerja sebagai buruh ikan asin memiliki motif untuk mencari penghasilan tambahan bagi keluarganya, sementara perempuan pemilik usaha ikan asin memiliki motif untuk mengisi waktu luang. Faktor penyebab perempuan istri nelayan ikut bekerja adalah bahwa mereka membutuhkan penghasilan tambahan untuk kebutuhan keluarga, sementara untuk pemilik usaha, akan membuat ongkos produksi usaha ikan asin lebih efisien karena perempuan bisa diandalkan untuk urusan ekonomi, daripada harus menyerahkan pengelolaan industri ikan asin kepada orang lain. Kontribusi istri nelayan yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah berperan serta dalam kegiatan mencari nafkah tambahan bagi keluarga mereka mengaku memberikan kontribusi terbaiknya, yakni dengan mengelola keuangan keluarga, serta memberikan tambahan penghasilan bagi keluarga nelayan. Kata Kunci: Perempuan Pekerja, Keluarga Nelayan, Industri Ikan Asin This research aims to see the role of women who work in the salted fish industry sector in the economy of fishing families. The wife also contributes to the family's economy due to the family's economic conditions or simply by spending free time. Fishermen's wives work as business owners or work as laborers in the salted fish industry. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research using a qualitative research approach. This research involved 10 informants, with 5 main informants and 5 supporters. From the research results, it was found that women who work as salted fish workers have a motive to earn additional income for their families, while women who own salted fish businesses have a motive to fill their free time. The factor that causes female fishermen's wives to work is that they need additional income for family needs, while for business owners, it will make the production costs of the salted fish business more efficient because women can be relied on for economic matters, rather than having to hand over the management of the salted fish industry to other people. The contribution of the fishermen's wives involved in this research was to participate in activities to earn additional income for their families. They admitted that they gave their best contribution, namely by managing family finances, as well as providing additional income for the fishermen's families.
