Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kondisi finansial yang berbeda antara mahasiswa penerima dana beasiswa dan mahasiswa non-penerima dana beasiswa, yang berpengaruh terhadap bagaimana pola konsumsi, prioritas kebutuhan, dan pengambilan keputusan finansial mereka sebagai mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti ada atau tidaknya perbedaan perilaku ekonomi antara mahasiswa penerima dana beasiswa dan mahasiswa non-penerima dana beasiswa pada mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan IPS Universitas Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian komparatif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto dan survei. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan seluruh mahasiswa aktif Jurusan Pendidikan IPS Universitas Lampung angkatan 2021 dengan jumlah 344 mahasiswa, yang terdiri dari 132 mahasiswa penerima dana beasiswa dan 212 mahasiswa non-penerima dana beasiswa. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Probability Sampling dengan teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 77 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t-Test Dua Sampel Independent. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam perilaku ekonomi antara mahasiswa penerima dana beasiswa dan mahasiswa nonpenerima dana beasiswa pada mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan IPS Universitas Lampung. This study aims to examine whether or not there are differences in economic behavior between scholarship recipients and non-scholarship recipients in the Social Studies Education Department of the University of Lampung. The research method used is quantitative comparative research with an ex post facto and survey approach. The population of this study was all active students of the Social Studies Education Department, University of Lampung, class of 2021, totaling 344 students, consisting of 132 scholarship recipients and 212 non-scholarship recipients. The sample determination in this study used Probability Sampling with the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique with a sample size of 77 students. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Hypothesis testing used the Two Independent Sample t-Test. The results of the analysis showed that there were significant differences in economic behavior between scholarship recipients and nonscholarship recipients in the Social Studies Education Department of the University of Lampung.
