Penyediaan layanan sanitasi yang layak dan aman merupakan faktor krusial dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Kota Metro, sebagai salah satu daerah yang berkomitmen terhadap target Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) 2024, telah membangun Instalasi Pengolahan Lumpur Tinja (IPLT) Karangrejo dengan kapasitas 45 m³ per hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan Kota Metro dalam mengimplementasikan program Layanan Lumpur Tinja Terjadwal (LLTT) melalui pendekatan analisis gap dan SWOT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Kota Metro memiliki potensi kuat dalam aspek regulasi, kesiapan masyarakat, serta infrastruktur pengolahan lumpur tinja. Namun, terdapat kendala dalam standar operasional prosedur (SOP) dan peraturan pendukung LLTT. Berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT, terdapat enam strategi utama untuk mendukung implementasi LLTT, yaitu mendorong Kota Metro untuk membuat regulasi atau aturan mengenai LLTT, menentukan skala operasi, pola penyedotan dan periode penyedotan sebagai upaya persiapan LLTT, Penghitungan riil biaya operasional LLTT, Menyusun ilustrasi system, mendorong Kota Metro untuk segera melakukan uji coba, melakukan komunikasi, sosialisasi dan promosi pelaksanaan LLTT. Diperlukan perbaikan kebijakan dan optimalisasi sistem operasional agar program ini dapat berjalan efektif di Kota Metro. Kata Kunci: Kota Metro, Lumpur Tinja,Potensi Kota,kesiapan, Analisis Gap. The provision of adequate and safe sanitation services should be are a crucial factor in improving the quality of life for the community. Metro City, as one of the regions committed to the 2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) targets, has established the Karangrejo Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant (IPLT) with a capacity of 45 m³ per day. This study aims to analyze Metro City's readiness to implement the Scheduled Fecal Sludge Service (LLTT) using a gap analysis and SWOT approach. The research method employed is descriptive quantitative, with data collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The results indicate that Metro City has strong potential in terms of regulations, community readiness, and fecal sludge treatment infrastructure. However, challenges remain in the standard operating procedures (SOP) and supporting regulations for LLTT. Based on the SWOT analysis, five key strategies have been identified to support LLTT implementationencourage Metro City to create regulations or rules regarding LLTT, determine the scale of operations, suction patterns and suction periods as an effort to prepare for LLTT, calculate the actual operational costs of LLTT, prepare system illustrations, encourage Metro City to immediately conduct trials, communicate, socialize and promote the implementation of LLTT. Policy improvements and operational system optimization are needed to ensure the effective implementation of this program in Metro City.
