Pembelajaran bahasa asing berpotensi menciptakan berbagai hambatan komunikasi serta mengganggu proses interaksi. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembelajaran bahasa Korea di Lembaga Pendidikan Bahasa Korea Hanguk Hakwon untuk menganalisis pendekatan komunikasi yang terjadi di Lembaga Pendidikan Bahasa Korea Hanguk Hakwon. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dokumentasi, dan study pustaka. Teori Kebudayaan Implisit digunakan untuk memahami pendekatan komunikasi melalui empat asumsi dasar, yaitu kebudayaan mempengaruhi skema kognitif, kebudayaan mempengaruhi organisasi tujuan dan strategi tindakan, kebudayaan mempengaruhi perorganisasian skema interaksi, dan kebudayaan mempengaruhi proses komunikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pendekatan komunikasi budaya yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Korea. Lembaga Pendidikan Bahasa Korea Hanguk Hakwon menerapkan pendekatan komunikasi berbasis budaya sebagai bagian integral dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Korea. Melalui pendekatan ini, siswa tidak hanya diajarkan aspek linguistik bahasa Korea, tetapi juga norma-norma komunikasi yang berlaku di masyarakat Korea, seperti tata krama berbicara sesuai usia, jabatan, dan konteks situasi. Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Komunikasi Budaya, Komunikasi Antarbudaya, Kebudayan Implisit,Perbedaan budaya, Bahasa Korea. Learning a foreign language has the potential to create various communication barriers and hinder the interaction process. This study focuses on Korean language learning at the Hanguk Hakwon Korean Language Education Institute to analyze the communication approach implemented at the institution. The research employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. The Implicit Culture Theory is used to understand the communication approach through four core assumptions: culture influences cognitive schemas, culture shapes the organization of goals and action strategies, culture affects the structuring of interactional schemas, and culture impacts the communication process. The findings indicate the presence of a cultural communication approach within the Korean language learning process. The Hanguk Hakwon Institute integrates a culture-based communication approach as an essential component of Korean language instruction. Through this approach, students are taught not only the linguistic aspects of the Korean language but also the communication norms practiced in Korean society, such as speech etiquette based on age, status, and contextual settings.
