Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah persepsi siswa SMP tentang perilaku berpacaran yang negatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap persepsi perilaku berpacaran pada siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 172 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 120 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Abung Selatan yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan rumus regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua terhadap persepsi perilaku berpacaran pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Abung Selatan. Hasil ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji regresi yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Besarnya pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap persepsi perilaku berpacaran yaitu sebesar 31,2% sedangkan sisanya 68,8% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Interpretasi r 0,559 membuktikan pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap persepsi perilaku berpacaran berada pada kategori sedang dengan interval yaitu 0,40-0,599. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua terhadap persepsi perilaku berpacaran pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Abung Selatan. Kata Kunci: Persepsi Perilaku Berpacaran , Pola Asuh Orang Tua, Siswa. The problem in this research is junior high school students' perceptions of negative dating behavior. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of parenting styles on perceptions of dating behavior in students. The method used in this research is quantitative with a correlational approach. The population of this study was 172 students with a sample of 120 class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Abung Selatan taken using a simple random sampling technique. This research was analyzed using a simple linear regression formula. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence between parenting styles on the perception of dating behavior in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Abung Selatan. This result is proven by the results of the regression test which shows a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. The magnitude of the influence of parental parenting on perceptions of dating behavior is 31.2%, while the remaining 68.8% is influenced by other variables outside those studied. The interpretation of r 0.559 proves that the influence of parental parenting on perceptions of dating behavior is in the medium category with an interval of 0.40-0.599. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between parental parenting patterns on the perception of dating behavior in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Abung Selatan.
