Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education yang valid dan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall terintegrasi dengan pendekatan ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada peserta didik kelas V SD Insan Mandiri Bandar Lampung. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah 50 peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian menggunakan instrumen tes yang valid dan reliabel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Effect Size dengan nilai Cohen’s d. Hasil penelitian pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan nilai Cohen’s d sebesar 0.63 dengan interpretasi sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Berpikir Kritis, LKPD, Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) This research aims to develop a valid and effective LKPD based on Realistic Mathematics Education to improve students' critical thinking skills. Borg and Gall's Research and Development (R&D) type is integrated with the ADDIE approach. This research was carried out on grade V students of SD Insan Mandiri Bandar Lampung. Sampling was done using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 50 students in the experimental class and control class. The research uses valid and reliable test instruments. The data analysis technique used the Effect Size test with Cohen's d. The results of the study in the experimental class and the control class showed a Cohen's d value of 0.63 with a moderate interpretation. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that LKPD based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) is valid and effective in improving critical thinking of grade V elementary school students.
