Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi cash holdings pada perusahaan sektor energi yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia tahun 2018-2022 . Data penelitian merupakan data sekunder yang diambil dari laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan yang didapatkan dari website resmi perusahaan serta IDX dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa firm size berpengaruh negatif terhadap cash holdings, leverage berpengaruh negatif terhadap cash holdings, growth opportunity tidak berpengaruh terhadap cash holdings, profitability tidak berpengaruh terhadap cash holdings, net working capital berpengaruh negatif terhadap cash holdings, capital expenditure berpengaruh negatif terhadap cash holdings, dan cash flow berpengaruh positif terhadap cash holdings. This study aims to examine the factors that affect cash holdings in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2018–2022. The research data are secondary data obtained from annual financial reports of the companies, which were accessed through the official company websites and the IDX. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that firm size has a negative effect on cash holdings, leverage has a negative effect on cash holdings, growth opportunity has no effect on cash holdings, profitability has no effect on cash holdings, net working capital has a negative effect on cash holdings, capital expenditure has a negative effect on cash holdings, and cash flow has a positive effect on cash holdings.
