Abstract

Free-range chicken meat is one of the food products that attracts many consumers, leading to increased interest in free-range chicken farming. To address future issues related to the production of free-range chicken meat in Lampung, it is necessary to make predictions to estimate whether the production will increase or decrease. This study aims to predict the production of free-range chicken meat in Lampung Province using the Adams-Bashforth-Moulton and Milne-Simpson methods, as well as to determine which method is more effective. The prediction process involves determining the initial solution using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method, obtaining numerical solutions using the Adams-Bashforth-Moulton and Milne-Simpson methods, and comparing the results and relative errors of the two methods to identify the more effective one. The results of the study show that the predicted production of free-range chicken meat in Lampung using the AdamsBashforth-Moulton and Milne-Simpson methods increases annually. Furthermore, the Milne-Simpson method proves to be more effective in making predictions due to its smaller relative error. Keywords: Adams-Bashforth-Moulton, Milne-Simpson, prediction, free-range chicken meat, Lampung.
