Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya potensi kemampuan berhitung peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 1 Labuhan Ratu Dua pada materi perkalian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode jarimatika terhadap kemampuan berhitung mata pelajaran matematika pada peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 1 Labuhan Ratu Dua. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian menggunakan Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 56 peserta didik. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 56 peserta didik. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh pada penerapan metode jarimatika terhadap kemampuan berhitung mata pelajaran matematika pada peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 1 Labuhan Ratu Dua tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Kata kunci: kemampuan berhitung, matematika, metode jarimatika The problem in this study was the low potential in arithmetic skills of fifth grade students’at SD Negeri 1 Labuhan Ratu Dua, especially in multiplication material. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Jarimatika method on students' arithmetic skills in mathematics. The method used was a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling. The sample of this study consisted of 56 students’, which was also the total population. Data collection techniques included tests and non-tests. The data analysis technique used was simple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of applying the Jarimatika method on the arithmetic skills of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Labuhan Ratu Dua in the 2024/2025 academic year.
