Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem notifikasi berbasis API WhatsApp dalam konteks pengembangan website FMIPA Universitas Lampung menggunakan framework scrum. Dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan akan komunikasi yang cepat dan efisien, aplikasi WhatsApp menjadi pilihan utama untuk menyampaikan informasi penting seputar FMIPA Universitas Lampung secara real-time. Dalam penelitian ini mengintegrasikan sistem backend Laravel dengan API WhatsApp, yang memungkinkan pengiriman notifikasi kepada pengguna mengenai berita dan informasi penting. Proses pengembangan dilakukan melalui beberapa sprint dalam framework scrum, yang mencakup pendaftaran akun, konfigurasi API, dan pengujian koneksi API. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem notifikasi yang terintegrasi dapat meningkatkan interaksi pengguna dan memastikan bahwa informasi yang disampaikan relevan dan tepat waktu. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan sistem informasi di institusi Pendidikan, serta menjadi referensi bagi pengembang lain yang ingin menerapkan sistem serupa. Kata kunci : Framework scrum, Website, Sistem Notifikasi, API WhatsApp. This study aims to implement a notification system based on the WhatsApp API in the context of developing the FMIPA Universitas Lampung website using the Scrum framework. With the increasing need for fast and efficient communication, WhatsApp has become a primary platform for delivering important information about FMIPA Universitas Lampung in real time. This research integrates the Laravel backend system with the WhatsApp API, enabling the delivery of notifications to users regarding news and essential updates. The development process was carried out through several sprints within the Scrum framework, covering account registration, API configuration, and API connection testing. The results of this study show that the integrated notification system can enhance user interaction and ensure that the information delivered is relevant and timely. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of information systems in educational institutions and serve as a reference for other developers who wish to implement a similar system.
