Critical thinking skills dan sustainability awareness merupakan dua keterampilan penting yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) Terintegrasi Education for Sustainable Development Terhadap Critical Thinking Skills Dan Sustainability Awareness di SMA N 1 Seputih Banyak tahun 2024/2025. Sampel terdiri dari kelas X.7 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X.4 sebagai kelas kontrol dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen. Pengambilan data diperoleh melalui pretest-posttest untuk mengukur critical thinking skills serta angket untuk mengukur sustainability awareness. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model SSCS terintegrasi ESD berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan critical thinking skills dan sustainability awareness peserta didik, dengan hasil uji independent sample t-Test Sig. (2-tailed) 0,00<0,05. Peningkatan nilai pretest dan posttest critical thinking skills pada kelas eksperimen mendapat nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,53 termasuk kategori sedang, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata N-Gain 0, 41 kategori sedang. Pada indikator sustainability awareness peningkatan tertinggi pada kedua kelas terdapat pada indikator behavior and attitude dengan nilai 8,26. Penelitian dengan model SSCS ini dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran kontekstual untuk mendorong keterampilan di abad 21 dan kesadaran akan lingkungan di tingkat pendidikan. Critical thinking skills and sustainability awareness are two essential competencies required to face the challenges of the 21st century. This study aims to examine the effect of the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model integrated with Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) on students’ critical thinking skills and sustainability awareness at SMA N 1 Seputih Banyak in the academic year 2024/2025. The sample consisted of class X.7 as the experimental group and class X.4 as the control group, selected through purposive sampling. This research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected using pre-tests and post-tests to measure critical thinking skills, and questionnaires to assess sustainability awareness. The results showed that the SSCS model integrated with ESD had a significant effect on improving students’ critical thinking skills and sustainability awareness, as indicated by the independent sample t-test (Sig. 0.00 < 0.05). The improvement in pre-test and post-test scores of critical thinking skills in the experimental class achieved an average N-Gain of 0.53 (moderate category), higher than the control class with an average N-Gain of 0.41 (moderate category). Regarding sustainability awareness, the highest improvement in both classes was found in the behavior and attitude indicator, with a score of 8.26. This study suggests that the SSCS model can serve as an alternative contextual learning approach to enhance critical thinking skills, foster environmental awareness, and support the development of 21st-century competencies in education.
