Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini meliputi kurangnya daya tarik wisata (Atraksi), fasilitas (Amenities) dan akses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Dinas Pariwisata Kota Bandar Lampung dalam mengembangkan Objek Wisata Sumur Putri serta mengetahui apa saja faktor-faktor penghambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori peran yang dikemukakan Pitana dan Gayatri (2005) dengan tiga peran yaitu peran sebagai motivator, fasilitator, dan dinamisator. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu wawancara, Observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran Dinas Pariwisata Kota Bandar Lampung dalam mengembangkan Objek Wisata Sumur Putri masih belum berperan secara optimal. Sebagai motivator, peran dalam sosialisasi Sapta Pesona dan pelatihan belum optimal. Sebagai fasilitator, fasilitas dasar telah tersedia namun masih ada kekurangan seperti, ketiadaan papan peta lokasi, penunjuk arah, tempat sampah dan gazebo terbatas, toilet belum memenuhi standar kebersihan dan kenyamanan, kios belum memenuhi standar penataan, serta perawatan yang belum maksimal, juga atraksi yang kurang inovatif. Sebagai dinamisator, kolaborasi dengan Dinas PUPR dan Dinas Pertanian telah meningkatkan infrastruktur, estetika, dan pelestarian lingkungan, namun masih perlu memperkuat kolaborasi dengan berbagai stakeholder termasuk dengan pihak swasta untuk mendukung pengembangan, pemeliharaan dan promosi objek wisata Sumur Putri secara berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: Peran Motivator Fasilitator Dinamisator, Dinas Pariwisata, Sumur Putri The problems raised in this study include the lack of tourist attractions, facilities (amenities), and access. This study aims to determine the role of the Bandar Lampung City Tourism Office in developing the Sumur Putri tourist attraction and to determine what inhibiting factors. This study uses the role theory proposed by Pitana and Gayatri (2005) with three roles: the role of motivator, facilitator, and dynamicator. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in the study are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Bandar Lampung City Tourism Office in developing the Sumur Putri tourist attraction is still not optimal. As a motivator, its role in the socialization of Sapta Pesona and training is not optimal. As a facilitator, basic facilities are available but there are still shortcomings such as the lack of location map boards, directions, limited trash cans and gazebos, toilets that do not meet cleanliness and comfort standards, kiosks that do not meet layout standards, and maintenance that is not optimal, as well as attractions that are less innovative. As a dynamic force, collaboration with the PUPR Department and the Agriculture Department has improved infrastructure, aesthetics, and environmental preservation, but collaboration with various stakeholders, including the private sector, is still needed to support the development, maintenance, and promotion of the Sumur Putri tourist attraction in a sustainable manner.
