ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Sosialisasi Pemilihan Kepala Daerah Kepada Pemilih Pemula di Kota Bandar Lampung Tahun 2024 (Studi Kasus KPU Provinsi Lampung). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana Sosialisasi yang dilakukan oleh KPU Provinsi Lampung kepada pemilih pemula pada pemilihan Walikota dan Wakil Walikota Bandar Lampung dengan menggunakan teori Sosialisasi dan teori Civic Voluntarism Model Verba, Schlozman, dan Brady. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Kualitatif, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi pendidikan pemilih yang dilakukan KPU bertujuan membentuk pemilih yang cerdas melalui metode interaktif seperti diskusi dan simulasi. Kolaborasi antara KPU, sekolah, dan LSM dinilai cukup efektif dalam membangun pendidikan yang lebih inklusif, namun partisipasi pemilih justru menurun menjadi 52% pada tahun 2024 dari 65% pada tahun 2019. Kendala teknis dan belum meratanya jangkauan informasi menjadi hambatan utama. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlu adanya perluasan jangkauan sosialisasi, penguatan peran sekolah dan komunitas, serta pemanfaatan media sosial dan tokoh muda untuk meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih pemula secara berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: sosialisasi politik, pemilih pemula, partisipasi pemilu, KPU, Pilkada 2024 This study examines the Socialization of Regional Head Elections to New Voters in Bandar Lampung City in 2024 (Case Study of Lampung Provincial KPU). The purpose of this study is to see how the Socialization carried out by the Lampung Provincial KPU in increasing election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bandar Lampung using the Socialization theory and the Civic Voluntarism Model theory of Verba, Schlozman, and Brady. The research method used is Qualitative, the results of the study show that the socialization of political education carried out by the KPU aims to form intelligent voters through interactive methods such as discussions and simulations. Collaboration between the KPU, schools, and LSM is considered strategic, but voter participation actually decreased to 52% in 2024 from 65% in 2019. Technical constraints and uneven information coverage are the main obstacles. This study recommends the need to expand the reach of socialization, strengthen the role of schools and communities, and utilize social media and young figures to increase the participation of new voters in a sustainable manner.
