Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development, yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa LKPD terkategori valid, praktis dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah m atematis siswa. Pengembangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur penelitian Borg and Gall. Uji coba efektivitas produk dilaksanakan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2024/2025 pada materi SPLDV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji-t dan uji proporsi. Hasil pengembangan LKPD terkategori valid dan praktis. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari skor validasi materi yaitu 88% dan perolehan rata-rata skor media 87%, dengan terkategori valid. Rata-rata skor respon guru, yaitu 86,53% dan siswa 89,11%, sehingga produk dinyatakan praktis. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil uji independent sample t-test diperoleh bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar berupa LKPD lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang yang tidak menggunakan LKPD. Hasil uji proporsi menunjukkan persentase siswa yang memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dengan menggunakan LKPD berbasis masalah kontekstual terkategori baik mencapai KKM dengan nilai 71 lebih dari 60% dari jumlah siswa. Dengan demikian, LKPD berbasis masalah kontekstual memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis, LKPD, Kontekstual This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study aimed at producing teaching materials in the form of student worksheets (LKPD) that are categorized as valid, practical, and effective in improving students' mathematical problemsolving abilities. The development in this study followed the Borg and Gall research procedure. The effectiveness testing of the product was conducted in class VIII of SMP Negeri 17 Bandar Lampung during the 2024/2025 academic year on the topic of Linear Equations in Two Variables (SPLDV). The data collection techniques used were tests and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were the t-test and the proportion test. The development results show that the LKPD is categorized as valid and practical. This is evident from the material validation score of 88% and the average media score of 87%, both falling into the valid category. The average response scores were 86.53% from teachers and 89.11% from students, indicating that the product is considered practical. Furthermore, based on the results of the independent sample t-test, it was found that the mathematical problem-solving ability of students who participated in learning using the LKPD was higher than that of students who did not use the LKPD. The results of the proportion test showed that the percentage of students who achieved the minimum mastery criterion (KKM) with a score of 71 and had good mathematical problem-solving ability using the contextual problembased LKPD was more than 60% of the total number of students. Therefore, the contextual problem-based LKPD meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ mathematical problem solving skills.
