ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa LKPD dengan pendekatan kontekstual yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian & pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X MA Nurul Islam Airbakoman Tanggamus tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, angket, dan tes kemampuan koneksi matematis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, data validasi yang diperoleh dari dua orang ahli materi dengan memperoleh indeks kevalidan 0,86 (sangat valid) dan dua orang ahli media dengan memperoleh indeks kevalidan 0,85 (sangat valid) menunjukkan kriteria valid. Respon pendidik dan peserta didik menghasilkan indeks kepraktisan masing-masing 0,90 dan 0,95 yang menunjukkan kriteria praktis. Kemudian, berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis data posttest diperoleh kesimpulan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis kelompok peserta didik yang menggunakan LKPD dengan pendekatan kontekstual lebih baik daripada kelompok peserta didik yang tidak menggunakan LKPD dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Didukung dari hasil dari uji proporsi terdapat lebih dari 60% peserta didik memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematis yang baik setelah menggunakan LKPD dengan pendekatan kontekstual. This study aims to produce teaching materials in the form of LKPD with a contextual approach that meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective in improving students' mathematical connection skills. This type of research is research & development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects in this study were class X students of MA Nurul Islam Airbakoman Tanggamus in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, and mathematical connection ability tests. Data analysis was carried out using the t-test. Based on the results of the study, validation data obtained from two material experts with a validity index of 0.86 (very valid) and two media experts with a validity index of 0.85 (very valid) showed valid criteria. The responses of educators and students produced practicality indices of 0.90 and 0.95 respectively, indicating practical criteria. Then, based on the results of the posttest data hypothesis test, it was concluded that there was an increase in the mathematical connection ability of the group of students who used LKPD with a contextual approach better than the group of students who did not use LKPD with a contextual approach. Supported by the results of the proportion test, more than 60% of students had good mathematical connection abilities after using LKPD with a contextual approach.
