Kinerja Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan (PPL) menjadi faktor penentu pelaksanaan penerapan panca usahtani yang baik. Usahatani yang dilaksanakan oleh para petani dapat meningkat baik dari segi kualitas maupun kuantitas, tidak terlepas dari pengaruh keberadaan juga kinerja PPL dan kerjasama antara PPL dengan petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk kinerja penyuluh pertanian, faktor-faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan kinerja penyuluh pertanian, mengetahui penerapan panca usahatani juga tingkat produktivitas tanaman padi sawah di Kecamatan Jati Agung Lampung Selatan serta mengetahui hubungan kinerja penyuluh pertanian dengan penerapan panca usahatani dan hubungan penerapan panca usahatani dengan peningkatan produktivitas padi sawah di Kecamatan Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kuantitatif yang dilakukan di Kecamatan Jati Agung, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah petani di Kecamatan Jati Agung dengan jumlah 24 petani dijadikan sampel dengan menggunakan metodologi Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan statistik non-parametrik yang berasal dari uji korelasi Rank Spearman untuk menunjukkan hubungan antara kinerja penyuluh pertanian dan penerapan panca usahatani serta hubungan penerapan panca usahatani dengan peningkatan produktivitas padi sawah. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang nyata antara kinerja penyuluh pertanian dengan penerapan panca usahatani di Kecamatan Jati Agung juga terdapat hubungan yang nyata antara hubungan penerapan panca usahatani dengan peningkatan produktivitas padi sawah di Kecamatan Jati Agung. The performance of Agricultural Extension Officers (AEOs) is a determining factor in the implementation of good agricultural practices through the five pillars of farming (panca usahatani). Farming activities carried out by farmers can improve both in terms of quality and quantity, which cannot be separated from the influence of the presence and performance of AEOs as well as the cooperation between AEOs and farmers. This study aims to examine the performance of agricultural extension officers, identify factors related to agricultural extension officer performance, understand the implementation of the five pillars of farming as well as the productivity level of rice paddy crops in Jati Agung District, South Lampung, and determine the relationship between agricultural extension officer performance and the implementation of the five pillars of farming, as well as the relationship between the implementation of the five pillars of farming and increased rice paddy productivity in Jati Agung District, South Lampung. This study uses a quantitative descriptive methodology conducted in Jati Agung District, South Lampung Regency. The research population consists of farmers in Jati Agung District, with 24 farmers selected as samples using purposive sampling methodology. This study employs non-parametric statistics using the Spearman Rank correlation test to demonstrate the relationship between agricultural extension officer performance and the implementation of the five pillars of farming, as well as the relationship between the implementation of the five pillars of farming and increased rice paddy productivity. The research findings indicate that there is a significant relationship between agricultural extension officer performance and the implementation of the five pillars of farming in Jati Agung District, and there is also a significant relationship between the implementation of the five pillars of farming and increased rice paddy productivity in Jati Agung District.
