ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis komposisi jenis pohon dan tingkat dominansi pohon di areal garapan Kelompok Tani Hutan Mekar Sari dalam Tahura Wan Abdul Rachman. Pengambilan sampel data dilakukan dengan metode garis berpetak dengan intensitas sampling 2,3%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase jumlah jenis pohon kayu rimba sebesar 40%, jenis pohon MPTS rimba sebesar 40%, dan pohon MPTS pertanian sebesar 20%. Kerapatan pohon kayu rimba sebesar 83,7 individu/ha (30,0%) , pohon MPTS rimba mencapai 80,7 individu/ha (28,9%), dan pohon MPTS pertanian sebanyak 114,5 individu/ha (41,1%). Persentase jumlah genus pada pohon kayu rimba sebesar 41%, genus pohon MPTS rimba sebesar 41%, dan genus pohon MPTS pertanian sebesar 18%. Persentase jumlah famili pada pohon kayu rimba sebesar 41%, famili pohon MPTS rimba sebesar 41%, dan famili pohon MPTS pertanian sebesar 18%. Tegakan kebun hutan didominasi oleh tiga jenis, yaitu durian dengan INP 43,0%, pala dengan INP 47,8%, dan kopi dengan INP 62,3%. Kata kunci: komposisi jenis, dominansi. ABSTRACK The study aims to analyze the composition of tree species and the level of tree dominance in the cultivation area of the Mekar Sari Forest Farmer Group in the Wan Abdul Rachman Tahura. Data sampling was carried out using the grid line method with a sampling intensity of 2.3%. The results showed that the percentage of the number of jungle wood tree species was 40%, jungle MPTS tree species were 40%, and agricultural MPTS trees were 20%. The density of jungle wood trees was 83.7 individuals/ha (30.0%), jungle MPTS trees reached 80.7 individuals/ha (28.9%), and agricultural MPTS trees were 114.5 individuals/ha (41.1%). The percentage of the number of genera in jungle wood trees was 41%, jungle MPTS tree genera were 41%, and agricultural MPTS tree genera were 18%.
