Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi morfologi sembilan klon ubi kayu yang diuji dengan cara membandingkan dengan klon standar UJ-5, mendapatkan rekomendasi bakal calon klon unggul maupun klon unggul harapan. Penelitian dilakukan pada Mei 2023-Maret 2024 di Kebun Percobaan Universitas Lampung di Desa Muara Putih, Kecamatan Natar, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan klon sebagai faktor tunggal, klon ubi kayu yaitu UJ-5 sebagai pembanding, Garuda, CN,UTK,GSP, SN, KMUR,0223 dan UJ6. Hasil evaluasi morfologi menunjukkan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah cabang klon KMUR dan 0223 yang relatif sama dengan klon pembanding UJ-5 sedangkan klon UJ-5 dan CN memiliki kesamaan untuk warna pucuk daun, warna batang, warna kulit luar ubi, warna daging ubi, warna korteks ubi, dan bentuk ubi. Klon yang direkomendasikan sebagai bakal calon klon unggul harapan yaitu KMUR yang memiliki tinggi tanaman yang lebih tinggi daripada klon UJ-5 serta jumlah cabang yang sama seperti klon UJ-5 sebagai pembanding dan juga klon 0223 memiliki jumlah lobus sama dengan klon UJ-5. Kata kunci : Evaluasi, morfologi, klon ubi kay This study aims to evaluate the morphology of nine cassava clones by comparing them with the standard clone UJ-5, and to provide recommendations for potential superior clones or promising superior clones. The research was conducted from May 2023 to March 2024 at the Research Station of the University of Lampung in Muara Putih Village, Natar District, South Lampung Regency. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with clones as the single factor, with the cassava clones UJ-5 as control. The clones evaluated were Garuda, CN, UTK, GSP, SN, KMUR, 0223, and UJ6. The morphological evaluation results showed that the plant height, stem diameter, and branch number of the KMUR and 0223 clones were relatively the same as the control UJ-5, while the UJ-5 and CN clones shared similarities in leaf shoot color, stem color, skin color of the tuber, flesh color of the tuber, cortex color, and tuber shape. The clone recommended as a potential superior clone is KMUR, which has a higher plant height than the UJ-5 clone and the same number of branches as the UJ-5 control. The 0223 clone also has the same number of lobes as the UJ-5 clone. Keywords: Morphological evaluation, cassava clones
