Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kinerja Environmental Social Governance (ESG) terhadap tingkat profitabilitas perusahaan dan nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam Indeks Indonesian Stock Exchange ESG Leaders tahun 2020-2022 dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 90 sampel. Variabel yang digunakan adalah kinerja environmental social governance yang diukur dengan nilai ESG Risk Ratings, tingkat profitabilitas diproksikan dengan rasio Return On Asset dan nilai perusahaan yang diproksikan dengan Rasio Tobin’s Q. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diambil dari laporan keuangan yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja environmental social governance (ESG) berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat profitabilitas juga kinerja environmental social governance (ESG) berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci: ESG Risk Ratings, Tingkat Profitabilitas, Nilai Perusahaan This study aims to examine the effect of Environmental Social Governance (ESG) performance on company profitability and firm value in companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange ESG Leaders Index in 2020-2022 with a research sample of 90 samples. The variabels used are environmental social governance performance as measured by the ESG Risk Ratings value, the level of profitability proxied by the Return On Asset ratio and firm value proxied by the Tobin's Q Ratio. This study uses secondary data taken from financial reports issued by the company. The results of the study indicate that environmental social governance (ESG) performance has a positive effect on company profitability and environmental social governance (ESG) performance has a positive effect on firm value.
