Penurunan luas Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) di Kota Bandar Lampung menjadi salah satu tantangan utama dalam menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan perkotaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komitmen dan inisiatif Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM) dalam merespon penurunan RTH yang signifikan dari tahun ke tahun. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh dari studi literatur, dokumen resmi, serta wawancara dengan perwakilan beberapa LSM seperti WALHI, WATALA, Mitra Bentala, dan Lembaga Konservasi 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun masih terdapat kendala seperti minimnya dukungan pemerintah dan rendahnya partisipasi publik, LSM telah menjalankan berbagai inisiatif, mulai dari advokasi kebijakan, kampanye lingkungan, pelestarian lingkungan, hingga pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan RTH. Peran LSM terbukti penting dalam mendorong kesadaran kolektif terhadap pentingnya RTH sebagai elemen vital ekosistem kota. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan sinergi antara pemerintah, LSM, dan masyarakat guna menciptakan kebijakan tata ruang yang lebih berkelanjutan dan partisipatif. Kata kunci: Ruang Terbuka Hijau, Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat, Kebijakan Lingkungan, Tata Ruang The decline in the area of Green Open Space (RTH) in Bandar Lampung City is one of the main challenges in maintaining the sustainability of the urban environment. This study aims to analyze the commitment and initiatives of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in responding to the significant decline in RTH from year to year. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained from literature studies, official documents, and interviews with representatives of several NGOs such as WALHI, WATALA, Mitra Bentala, and Konservasi 21. The results of the study show that although there are still obstacles such as minimal government support and low public participation, NGOs have carried out various initiatives, ranging from policy advocacy, environmental campaigns, to community empowerment in managing RTH. The role of NGOs has proven important in encouraging collective awareness of the importance of RTH as a vital element of the city ecosystem. This study recommends synergy between the government, NGOs, and the community to create more sustainable and participatory spatial planning policies.
