Abstract

ABSTRAK Masalah dalam penelitian ini yakni stres akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Hardiness menjadi faktor yang berperan dalam perlawanan terhadap stres, yang mencakup tiga dimensi utama komitmen, kontrol dan tantangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh hardiness terhadap stres akademik mahasiswa semester akhir jurusan ilmu pendidikan di Universitas Lampung. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 87 mahasiswa yang diambil dari jumlah populasi sebesar 10% dari 650 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang negatif dan signifikan antara variabel Hardiness (X) terhadap Stres Akademik (Y), dibuktikan dengan analisis koefisien arah regresi β (X) = -0.340. Kesimpulannya semakin tinggi tingkat hardiness semakin rendah tingkat stres akademik yang dialami mahasiswa tingkat akhir jurusan ilmu pendidikan Universitas Lampung. semakin rendah tingkat hardiness semakin tinggi tingkat stres akademik yang dialami mahasiswa tingkat akhir jurusan ilmu pendidikan Universitas Lampung. Sehingga hipotesis nol (H0) di terima dan (Ha) ditolak. Kata kunci: ketahanan, stres akademik, mahasiswa tingkat akhir, menyusun skripsi ABSTRACT The problem in this study is academic stress in final year students who are working on a thesis. Hardiness is a factor that plays a role in resisting stress, which includes three main dimensions of commitment, control and challenge. This research aims to find out how much influence hardiness has on academic stress of final semester students majoring in education at the University of Lampung. In this study using quantitative methods. The sample in this study consisted of 87 students who were taken from the total population of 10% of 650 students. The research results show that there is a negative and significant influence between the Hardiness variable (X) on Academic Stress (Y), proven by the analysis of the regression direction coefficient β (X) = -0.340. In conclusion, the higher the level of hardiness, the lower the level of academic stress experienced by final level students majoring in education at the University of Lampung.
