Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Telah di lakukan penelitian batubara di daerah Pangandonan, Baturaja, Sumatera Selatan. Daerah penelitian terletak pada lembar geologi Lahat dan termasuk ke dalam Formasi Muara Enim. Identifikasi litologi dan lapisan batubara di analisis melalui metoda well logging, yakni log gamma ray dan log density sebanyak 8 (delapan) titik sumur. Interpretasi lapisan batubara di dasarkan pada kaidah litologi dengan mengkorelasi hasil logging di 8 sumur. Litologi daerah penelitian tersusun batupasir, batulempung dan batubara. Sedangkan untuk litologi batubara terdapat 3 (tiga) seam batubara, untuk seam A memiliki ketebalan rata-rata 2.7 meter, seam B memiliki ketebalan rata-rata 3.2 meter sedangkan seam C memilik ketebalan rata-rata 8.5 meter. Dari hasil korelasi 2D diketahui bahwa pada log P32 dan DHS24 terdapat ketidakselarasan tiap bidang litologinya yang disebabkan oleh struktur sesar normal. Berdasarkan pola defleksi log gamma ray, terdapat endapan swamp, levee dan flood plain yang menunjukan lingkungan pengendapan adalah Upper Delta Plain-Fluvial. Dari hasil kalkulasi litologi overburden (soil, sandstone, mudstone,) diperoleh sebesar 51.297.426 tonase, sedangkan volume batubara diperoleh 7.757.692 tonase. Kata kunci: Metode well logging, lingkungan pengendapan, Coal research conducted in Pangandonan, Baturaja, South Sumatera. Research area is located in geological map of Lahat quadrangle and it is included in Muara Enim Formation. Well logging methods analyzed the lithological identification and coal layer, which is used gamma ray log and density log in 8 (eight) well. Coal layer interpretation is correlate logging results in 8 well based on the lithological rules. Lithology of research areas composed sandstone, mudstone dan coal. Whereas for coal lithological there are 3 (three) coal seam, A seam has 2.7 meters for the average thickness, B seam has 3.2 meters for the average thickness and C seam has 8.5 meters for the average thickness. From 2D correlation result, known that in log P32 and DHS24 there is unconfirmity each lithological layers caused by normal fault structure. Based on gamma ray log deflection pattern, there is swamp deposition , levee deposition and flood plain deposition which is showed the deposition environment is Upper Delta Plain-Fluvial. From overburden (soil, sandstone, mudstone,) lithological calculation, obtained 51.297.426 tonnage, Whereas the coal volume is 7.757.692 tonnage.
