Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini membahas pelembagaan eksternal PDI Perjuangan di Provinsi Lampung pada Pemilu 2024 dengan menyoroti sejauh mana partai dalam pengakaran di masyarakat. Studi ini mengangkat atas fenomena menurunnya perolehan suara PDI Perjuangan di Provinsi Lampung dan bagaimana strategi partai dalam mempertahankan serta memperkuat eksistensinya di masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Adapun kerangka analisis penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil modifikasi teori utama pengakaran di masyarakat oleh Basedau dan Stroh yaitu hubungan partai dengan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) implementasi kegiatan partai dan jaringan organisasi yang mengakar di masyarakat belum optimal karena masih adanya kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan komunitas, dan pemahaman kader, (2) rekrutmen tokoh yang berpengaruh masih terbatas, (3) citra publik (reification) partai belum stabil, terdapat kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan media, dan mengadvokasi kepentingan masyarakat kecil. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penurunan suara PDI Perjuangan Provinsi Lampung pada Pemilu 2024 disebabkan karena partai belum sepenuhnya mengakar di masyarakat yang dapat dilihat dari tidak terpenuhinya tiga indikator pengakaran di masyarakat. Kata Kunci : PDI Perjuangan, Pelembagaan Eksternal, Pemilu 2024, Partai Politik, Lampung This research discusses the external institutionalization of PDI Perjuangan in Lampung Province during the 2024 elections, highlighting the extent to which the party is rooted in society. This study highlights the phenomenon of the decline in PDI Perjuangan's vote share in Lampung Province and how the party's strategies in maintaining and strengthening its existence in society. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and document analysis. The analytical framework of this research is based on the modified main theory of societal rooting by Basedau and Stroh, which focuses on the relationship between the party and the community. The research results show that (1) the implementation of party activities and organizational networks rooted in the community is not yet optimal due to the need to enhance community involvement and cadre understanding, (2) the recruitment of influential figures is still limited, (3) the party's public image (reification) is not yet stable, with a need to improve media utilization and advocate for the interests of small communities. The conclusion of this research is that the decline in votes for PDI Perjuangan in Lampung Province in the 2024 elections is due to the party not being fully rooted in the community, as evidenced by the failure to meet three indicators of community rooting.
